The referees are considered the middle man
in a sport, a promoter of “FAIR” game. Some called them Umpires, but they’re
commonly known as Referees.
A referee is a big factor in a game. They
control the calls, and everyone knows that “Referee’s decision is always final”
try to argue with them and surely you’ll get a T or worst, thrown out of the
game.
In a basketball game, one timely mistake
call by the referee may cause a team’s championship dream, especially late in
the season, late in the series, or perhaps, during a championship game.
During the Boston Celtics versus Miami Heat game, Game 4 to be exact, it is a physical game. But there are “let go” plays, then why not do this all throughout the game to be fair? Lebron James got fouled out because of a “drama-nique” (Drama-Technique) play of Pietrus, which was supposedly a “let-go play. This kinda play also happened to the Celtics.

The referees are there to promote fair,
without biased and uninfluenced-decided game. But it’s not what looks like
during these conferences finals in the NBA. Fans are influencing the referees’
decision, or worst, you know what I mean.
I remembered Rasheed Wallace in an
interview during their playoffs against the Cleveland Cavaliers, he said that
“NBA is not about basketball anymore, it’s about entertainment”. Read between
the lines guys, does he have a point or not? Is the referees’ part of that
entertainment?.
I thought bad judges only occurred in the
sport of boxing, but slowly and bluntly, the sport of basketball as well is now
infested in a form of three personas in the basketball court with black and
white strips..called referees.
